Web10 jun. 2024 · I decided I didn't want to have a link to the shared folder in my OneDrive so I right clicked the synced linked folder and clicked "Remove Shortcut" - the OneDrive sync client notified me that it was removing the shortcut. My problem: The shortcut is removed from OneDrive online but remains in my synced (local) OneDrive folder. WebRight-click the folder you want to delete and click Delete Folder. Click Yes to move the folder and its contents to the Deleted Items folder. When you empty the Deleted Items folder, everything in it — including any folders you’ve deleted — is permanently erased. Note: You can’t delete built-in folders, such as Inbox, Outbox, or Sent Items.
