WebIn my humble opinion, the camera itself is not so much the key. The two keys are: 1) being able to use the camera. In other words, don't buy a new camera and the first time you extensively use it is on your Alaska trip. BIG MISTAKE. 2) having an eye and having patience. You can have the nicest camera in the world and still not take great photos.
